why become a coach?

I could list at least 10 reasons why, but the fact that you’re here tells us that you already know or are well on your way.
Coaching has been part of my life for 20 years: from coaching my sales teams in my early career, to the work I do now with boards, and my favourite type of coaching, with charities and trusts.
When I think about why I love it almost everything I go to write sounds cheesy but here goes:
- I love that I do something I love
- Sunday nights aren't scary anymore
- I have more holidays
- Seeing someone change is exciting and rewarding
- Listening to others is a privilege
- Watching people become more confident is inspiring
- I've developed some of the best relationships in my life through coaching
- I've got better at managing my own emotions
- I'm a better leader (I think, my team may say different!)
so, where does that leave you?
The decision to become a coach is easy but where to train is important and it might take longer.
Building the Coach House and teaching others to do this brilliant skill is my last reason – you get to pass it on.
